About me

Hello! My name is Olga! I graduated from Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, worked as an elementary school teacher in a secondary school; English tutor for children; a call center operator for providing technical support to users located in the United States; teacher at English courses (group and individual lessons, all levels).

In my free time I love travelling and taking pictures of the places I visit. I like looking for something new on the Internet - programs, tools for work, useful videos and simply spectacular content. One of my greatest hobbies is cooking, as well as pedagogy, because I am a mother of two children.

Qualification

Being a specialist in English language and foreign literature, I am proficient in the teaching methods of philological disciplines.

I am an experienced online teacher, who uses modern learning tools (Miro, Quizlet, Wordwall), various resources and textbooks (Speakout, Outcomes, English file, Cutting edge, Life), remote group communication programs (Google Meet, Zoom, VooV, Skype).

Online English language training for adults - from beginner to advanced.

Convenient online learning

Classes are held via VooV or Zoom, at a convenient time for you. Classes can be conducted both with the use of a webcam and without it (at the request of the student). Before the start of training, a test is conducted to determine the level and we discuss your training needs.

Communicative technique

The entire learning process is aimed at using language skills in communication. The main objective of the methodology is to overcome the "language barrier". The learning process uses expressions, vocabulary, standard phrases that we use in real life.

Individual approach

The training program is selected individually for each student. Various tools, tutorials and content are selected to get the best results. You also learn from interesting presentations, interactive tasks and platforms (Quizlet, Miro, TED talks).

Intensity of classes

The number of classes and their duration is determined by the results of testing and is adjusted as training progresses. Usually it is 2-3 times a week for 50-60 minutes.

Learning materials

Games are actively used in the lessons, situations of communication, discussions, exchange of opinions are modelled. All study materials are provided electronically free of charge.

Different ways of learning

Both individual and group lessons are possible. Groups are formed by agreement depending on the level. Quantity - from 2 to 6 people.

Additional forms of education

I organize weekly speaking clubs on various topics to consolidate my students' conversational skills. The cost is 2.5 euros.

Individual lessons - from 10 euros. Pair lessons (2 people) - from 8 euros. Group lessons (4-6 people) - from 6 euros.

Payment is made by agreement for one or more lessons in advance.

  • Who is online learning suitable for?
  • How long does training take?

    The length of the course depends on your goals and the time you have available. It takes 6-9 months to complete one level of the general conversational course. For confident communication abroad, you need to study English for at least two years if you start learning the language from scratch. If you already have a certain level of knowledge, you can continue studying from any level that corresponds to your level.

  • Is learning online effective?

    Yes, it's effective. Online learning doesn't differ from regular private lessons. It saves time and makes life more comfortable for both the student and the teacher. It's simple, convenient and modern.

  • What device/software do I need for classes?

    You will need a reliable internet connection, a computer or tablet or smartphone, and a free VooV or Zoom video conferencing service. Set up your headphones and microphone for comfortable communication.

  • How is testing at the beginning of training?

    The level of your spoken English is checked during a 30-minute phone call. The format is a small conversation, an interview. The test determines the active vocabulary, strengths and weaknesses in pronunciation and possession of grammatical structures. Testing time is agreed in advance.

  • Are you doing homework?

    Yes, because the student's progress largely depends on his independent work after the lessons. The more time you can devote to English in addition to studying with a teacher, the faster you will achieve your goal.

  • If I am unable to attend a lesson, is the fee charged?

    If you cancel a lesson in advance, payment is not debited and is automatically transferred to the next lesson. If there was no cancellation of the lesson, the teacher will be waiting for you during the entire lesson, and the payment for the lesson will be charged.

  • How to pay for lessons? In what currency can I pay?

    I work on a 100% prepayment to a Privatbank card or using the PayPal payment system. Due to the difference in time zones, students must pay for tuition at least 24 hours before the start of classes. You can pay in any currency. The commission, if any, is taken into account and paid by the sender.
